Grandmaster Jeff Sprawls
Grandmaster Jeff Sprawls got his start in the Japanese art of Goju-Ryu and Aiki-Jitsu. Jeff later began training in Filipino and Chinese systems at the same school that Steve Todd had just been certified as an instructor. Jeff continued his training there for a couple of years after Steve moved to Arkansas, occasionally having the opportunity to train with Steve. Jeff then began training with Steve full time.

In 1994 Jeff received his black belt from Steve.
In 1997 he gained teaching status from Willem deThouars. He also received his First Degree Black Belt rank (Lakan Isa) in Modern Arnis from Grandmaster Ernesto Presas.
In 1998 Jeff was named to the Council of Elders for Silat America, a group dedicated to the promotion of the various silat arts.
In 2001 Jeff gained Master Instructor certification, a Fifth Degree Black Belt, and induction into the International Hall of Fame from Grandmaster Ernest Presas.
Jeff is co-founder and Grandmaster of the 5 Way Method.
