Grandmaster Steve Todd
Learning basic jujitsu techniques and 'Post-War' style boxing from his father, Charles; Wolf's Grin Founder Steve Todd has been doing some kind of martial art most of his life.
"As kids all we did was play Army with lots of hand-to-hand combat. In high school I practiced various systems with foreign exchange students.During college he worked out with friends practicing Shito-Ryu and Goju-Ryu Karate, this was the first time working with rattan sticks and Filipino martial arts. After college, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, he began seeking out an effective fighting systems and attending training seminars. One of his college professors, Dr. Alan Combs, told him that many of the answers he sought could be found in martial arts rather than in graduate school; and he was right.

In 1994, Steve received certification from the legendary instructor Dan Inosanto in:

He also received certification from Willem deThouars, founder of Kuntao Silat deThouars, that same year.
In 1995, Steve became Lakan Isa, First Degree Black Belt, in Modern Arnis from Grandmaster Ernesto A. Presas.
In 1998, Steve was recognized as a Silat master and appointed to the Council of Elders for Silat America.
In 2001, Steve was inducted into the World Head of Family Sokeship Council's International Martial Arts Hall of Fame as a Master Instructor of Kombatan, after receiving his Fifth degree Black Belt from system founder Grandmaster Ernesto Presas.
